Veritas Partner Link 2015, which took place recently in Orlando, was a great event for our team, as we learned from, and shared with, Veritas and others in our industry. Not only was Datalink named Americas Solution Integration Partner of the Year, we also got to participate on a number of panels and give our perspective on hot technology topics.
But first, congratulations to Jen Mundahl, Partner Manager, and the entire team for earning the award. It is a testament to how well we collaborate with our business partners, the thought leadership we bring to customers, and how hard we work to deliver IT outcomes in every engagement in which we are involved.
On the main stage at the event, Mike Spindler, Datalink Practice Director, joined Veritas leadership to discuss new opportunities in the cloud, and how Veritas can work with partners like Datalink to enable new cloud consumption models that benefit our clients. Our extensive cloud capabilities and experience made us a valuable contributor to this conversation. What’s more, one of our recent client success stories, which leveraged an opex, cloud-based approach, was highlighted.
I had the pleasure of being on a panel led by Deirdre Crossan, Veritas Head of Americas GEO Marketing, on marketing best practices. I shared information on Datalink’s integrated marketing strategy, and early results and data-led approach for a specific campaign that we recently executed.
All-in-all, the event was extremely valuable and will help us do an even better job of working with Veritas to achieve positive business and IT outcomes for our shared clients.
