Provide consulting, analysis, design, and/or implementation support for data center solutions including pre-site inspections, initial implementations, customization, and integration to help optimize clients’ operational benefits. Solution architects works closely with Datalink sales, technical services, and support groups; external vendor partners; and clients to ensure a smooth implementation and transition.
Provide exceptional support to the technical community while serving as the primary engineer in Datalink on Demand Labs (DoD Labs). Solutions engineers help prepare and support client demonstrations, tours, and self-development events. They act as liaisons between partners, the engineering team, and practice management during the evaluation of new technologies in the DoD Labs. Along with collaborating with IT to provision and administer lab hardware, virtual machines, and supporting tools and infrastructure, solutions engineers provide clients with implementation and support for complex data center solutions. They work closely with Datalink sales, technical services, and support groups; external vendor partners; and clients to ensure a smooth implementation and transition.
Grows and develops a regional account base by engaging in successful client relationships from initial needs analysis through support. Regional engineering managers ensure technology aligns to clients’ business needs, and solves extremely complex sales support problems. They assist clients and sales reps by providing technical product and service advice and demo support. The regional engineering manager oversees the technical services staff in their geographic area and serves as the lead technical resource.
